DONNA ADAMSON
Thank you for taking a moment to see if we might be a good fit. I am a licensed clinician who specializes in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including autism, ADHD, and OCD. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique strengths, experiences, and goals. My approach is strength-based, trauma-informed, and rooted in compassion-focused therapy, with additional methods thoughtfully integrated to meet your individual needs.
I believe healing begins in a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy, gently uncover underlying challenges, and build practical tools to support meaningful, sustainable change. My hope is that you leave our work together feeling clearer, more empowered, and less alone in your journey.
I bring over a decade of experience in rehabilitation counseling, much of it dedicated to working in tribal communities and training staff. In addition to my work with Bene, I serve as an intensive outpatient group facilitator for children and adults. When I'm not working, I enjoy creating with clay, spending time in nature, and writing.
