I am a clinician who strongly believes in the importance of authentic human connection and a feeling of belonging. In today's world, it can feel isolating in both physical and emotional ways, sometimes resulting in unfamiliar or uncomfortable feelings. The good news is that those feelings don't have to be permanent and you are capable of learning
coping skills to manage them.
My background includes working with many diverse populations and age ranges. From those experiences, I draw from a person centered, strength based perspective. This means that I want to honor who you are, where you've been and what experiences have helped to shape you. I recognize that you are the expert of your life story and together,
we will navigate your goals at a pace you're comfortable with.
My approach to building a trusting relationship with you includes using evidence based practices such as but not limited to: motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills. I work best with individuals who are motivated to examine behavior patterns and have a willingness to be authentic. Finding the right clinician to meet your current needs is important to me.
