Daniela Chong
Hi! My name is Daniela Chong, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. I earned my background in counseling psychology with an emphasis on solution-focused practices, social justice, and minority health. While I am formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I consider myself an eclectic therapist, drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet each client's unique needs. I believe there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to therapy, and I value creating a personalized experience that honors each individual's goals, strengths, and lived experiences.
I have experience working with clients of all ages, though I especially enjoy supporting adolescents and college-age individuals. I believe that beginning the therapeutic process early can provide a strong foundation for lifelong emotional well-being and healthy coping skills. As a bilingual therapist, I am proud to offer counseling services in both English and Spanish.
Above all, my role is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is one of my highest priorities, and I value open communication and feedback throughout our work together.
I have always been inspired by people's resilience and capacity for growth, and I feel honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life's challenges. I look forward to helping you discover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and build a more fulfilling and meaningful future.
