My name is Natalia- I am a bilingual/bicultural therapist with a passion for helping others in their therapeutic journey. As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, I am passionate about working with people of all different backgrounds and bring a multicultural/anti-oppressive lens to my practice, acknowledging the impact of social injustice on our BIPOC and LGBTQIA community members.
***I am able to provide therapy services in Spanish***
I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in psychology and completed my M.Ed in counseling at Seattle University. My experience as a therapist stems from my background as a school counselor serving teens and families, as well as working with diverse populations in community mental health. My therapeutic approach and orientation is rooted in Attachment Theory, with a focus on using a variety of trauma-informed techniques. I incorporate mindfulness, EMDR, IFS, and CBT whenever appropriate in our sessions.
