Hello! I am Faraha Hasan (she/hers), and I am a Pakistani Muslim American woman. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Washington working on her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas.

I work with adult clients navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal difficulties, ADHD, multicultural concerns, and identity-based stress and trauma. I utilize mindfulness, relational-cultural theory (RCT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). My specialties include working with young adults, adult children of immigrants, and BIPOC folks. I will draw from various therapeutic techniques to best suit you and your goals.

My first goal with you is to build a foundation of trust and comfort. I believe a person’s cultural context impacts their presenting concerns and treatment, and I aim to affirm your personal identities and experiences. My therapeutic approach also involves validating the systems and circumstances that prevent us from living fulfilling lives.
