I provide a supportive space to express your authentic self, explore feelings, gain insight, and build skills to live more fully and with greater intentionality. Throughout the process, I work to recognize and utilize individual clients’ strengths and wisdom, while maintaining awareness of social and cultural factors that can impact our ways of being in the world and how the world responds to us.
I enjoy working with adults with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, shame, anger, dealing with life transitions, and creating a more values-driven life. Some therapeutic concepts I draw from are self-compassion, acceptance, mindfulness, and adaptive thinking. Each client is unique, and I try to adjust my approach as needed.
